Gourmet events 2016

The Bemelmans-Post has a special quartet on hand to provide culinary delights: Theo and Toni Senn hold sway in the kitchen, Annemarie Senn is responsible for the harmonious decoration and perfect service, while sommelier Thomas Fink will inspire you with his knowledge of wines.

Springtime gala dinner (30 April):
local herbs, flowers and the energy of spring all accompany this menu, which is perfectly complemented by the wines. There is also a programme of fine music.

Asparagus gala dinner (14 May):
the kitchen team at the Bemelmans-Post will serve up various fascinating creations prepared from this noble spring vegetable.

Fresh and tasty from South Tyrol and the sea (4 June):
an interesting encounter between South Tyrolean cooking, hearty yet refined, and delicious seafood. This interplay of opposites will surprise and delight you. Music will accompany the event.

Summer solstice (25 June):
the days are still long, the air is balmy and the panorama of the Dolomites stunning – these are the ingredients for the traditional celebration of the summer solstice at the Bemelmans-Post. A wide variety of antipasti, a tasty barbecue and sweet temptations all mark a delectable start to the summer!

Summer party (23 July):
the hotel’s park is a riot of colours and fragrances, with flowers in bloom and the landscape displaying its infinite beauty. Our contribution is a party in the park, with a stimulating aperitif, an enticing range of starters, tasty items from the barbecue and summer sweets, plus music for a memorable evening.

The magic of diversity - a South Tyrol gourmet event (10 September)
South Tyrol is unique and varied, with light, fresh and imaginative cuisine; the menu for the evening is tasty, fine and harmonious. The music is just right and so is the wine. Everything is prepared and displayed by top chefs – so come and let yourself be surprised!

Gourmet wine & cheese event (30 September):
Special, genuine and enduring, just like ourselves, our cuisine and the wines of South Tyrol. On this evening we will serve you the best of the food and wine that our land has to offer.

Harvest festival (15 October):
The harvest is over, the winemaking mostly begun and we can now enjoy the fruits of the earth. Our chefs and their helpers will devote themselves to preparing and creating new dishes. Our aim is to stage a grand culinary evening for you.

Traditional törggelen evenings (24 and 31 October, 15 November):
Traditional South Tyrolean cuisine at its finest with musical accompaniment
